Step into the spiritual heart of Zulu tradition with My Roots 2026 in 4K, a powerful documentary-style feature capturing one of the most sacred ancestral gatherings of the Abangoni—the "non-sinners" who come together to honour their roots, commune with the ancestors, and celebrate their enduring cultural identity.

This exclusive footage of 4 hours transports you into the heart of the ceremony, where ancient rhythms merge with the living spirit of community. Witness the brewing of umqhombothi—the traditional ancestral beer—as elders and participants prepare the sacred offerings that bridge the worlds of the living and the departed. Savor the sights and sounds of ancestral foods being prepared and shared, each dish carrying the weight of generations of tradition.

What you will experience in this sacred chapter:

1. The Ancestral Invocation: Powerful rituals that call upon the spirits of the forefathers, creating a conduit for communication through music and sound.
